This event is only the beginning. Together with Ava's family, the Monterey County Black Caucus, and The Helen Rucker Center at CSUMB we are building an annual tradition that unites our community through awareness, education, advocacy, and hope. Join us for a day of walking, entertainment, health resources, and family-friendly activities as we honor our warriors and support individuals and families living with sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait.
